JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The head of the urban village of Petamburan, Setiyanto, said that his party had received a notification about the planned wedding of the daughter of the leader of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Rizieq Shihab.
The wedding ceremony was originally scheduled to take place at Rizieq’s residence in Jalan Petamburan III, Central Jakarta on Saturday night (11/14/2020) and 10,000 invitations are expected to attend.
“According to the letter, 10,000 parishioners will attend,” Setiyanto told Kompas.com, Friday (11/13/2020).
Setiyanto admitted that he had coordinated with the committee so that the health protocols related to the prevention of Covid-19 could be properly implemented during the event.

“From there (the committee) is provided gel alcohol and masks for those who don’t, “he said.
The kelurahan will also help provide a number of facilities to ensure that health protocols are properly implemented.
“We are helping hand washing stations, restrooms and ambulances, and installing banners asking (to obey) health protocols,” he said.
Setiyanto also confirmed that KS Tubun Street would be closed. This is because, in both directions, tents will be set up for the guests present.
He said that the roads that were closed led from the Brimob shelter to the old gas station next to the Pelni Hospital.

“If you look at the tent setup plan to the other side, maybe it’s two directions (the closure),” he continued.
Rizieq only arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday (11/10/2020) after being in Saudi Arabia for over 3 years. Rizieq’s return also drew a crowd at Soekarno-Hatta airport and the Petamburan area.
