Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

The bride and her parents in Wonorejo Village, Kedawung District, Regency Sragen, Central Java, died due to being positive for the corona virus (COVID-19).

This finding led to this case being categorized as a new group by the Sragen Regency Health Office after celebrating a wedding on October 24.

“The new group in Sragen for this wedding ceremony is due to the fact that three people from a family died and, after being located, 113 people became close contacts and were examined,” said the head of the Regency Health Office. Sragen, Hargiyanto, when contacted. CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (11/13).

Hargiyanto said hundreds of residents who were in close contact conducted swab checks in stages, first on Monday (Sept. 11) and then 51 people, and they continued on Tuesday (Oct. 11) with 62 people.

However, so far Hargiyanto admits that he has not received the results of the investigation from 113 close contacts.

“The results are still waiting until they do not come out, generally 2-3 days, this is still being asked of the Dr. Moewardi Hospital,” he said.

Furthermore, the findings of this case began when bride L (28) returned from DKI Jakarta on Thursday (10/22) or two days before her simple wedding reception which was held at L.

After the event, L and her husband went to Wonogiri for an in-law discharge event on Monday (10/26). But along the way, L complained of illness and was taken to Dr. Moewardi Solo Hospital, where he tested positive for Covid-19.

Later, L underwent isolation and was pronounced dead on Thursday (11/5). The day after L’s death, his mother, S (57), was taken to the Surakarta Hospital and was declared Covid-19 and then died on Friday (11/6).

Then, father S (60) a few days later complained about his health, for which he was immediately transferred to the hospital. Then after being examined, the test results also showed that the father was positive for Covid-19.

However, S finally found his wife and daughter, she passed away on Monday (September 11).
