The Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road will finally be officially built. This was marked by the signing of a highway concession contract (PPJT), a guarantee contract and a regression contract on a joint venture project between the government and business entities that took place this morning near the work.
The signing of the cooperation agreement involves five state companies that have won the auction for the project. The 5 BUMNs mentioned include PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk with a 60% stake, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk 12.5%, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk 12.5%, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk. 12.5% and PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) 2.5%.
“With the signing of this PPJT, I am very grateful because then Joglosemar will become an area that is connected to each other,” said the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono in the PPJT signing procession, Friday ( 11/13/2020).
On the same occasion, the Head of the Toll Roads Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the PUPR Ministry, Danang Parikesit, said that the Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road was included in a national strategic project. This project has been proposed by the Minister of the PUPR to the Coordinating Minister of Economy for 4 years or to be precise on December 7, 2016.
Followed by a feasibility review conducted by the Committee for the Acceleration of Priority Infrastructure Provision in 2017. The Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road was designated as a national strategic project by Presidential Regulation No. 58 of 2017 and also as a priority infrastructure project through the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs dated August 31, 2017 “he explained.
