JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki, said that the program of Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres) or Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) of Rp 2.4 million granted to MSMEs is expected to be extended until next year or at least in the first quarter of 2021.

“We see that there are up to 28 million UMKM players who have registered to receive this assistance. Meanwhile, the number of MSMEs that are destined to receive this assistance is only 12 million business actors. Therefore, we will continue to evaluate the continuity of this program until next year or at least until the first quarter of 2021, “Teten said during a discussion of the 82-year-old Sinar Mas webinar, Thursday (12/11/2020).

Earlier, some time ago, Teten had asked people who wanted to get the BLT UMKM Rp.2.4 million to immediately register and present themselves to the District Head / City Head of the Small and Medium Business Cooperative ( Kadiskop UKM) in their respective regions.
Then, when registering, the public must bring the required data, starting with the identification number (NIK), full name, along with the identity card (KTP), residential address, business line, up to phone numbers.
Teten affirmed that not all microenterprise actors deserve this grant.
This is because there are several requirements that must be met, namely, micro-entrepreneurs who currently do not receive working capital and investment loans from banks (not bankable), has a population identification number (NIK) as evidenced by a proposal letter from the applicant and not from a member of the state civil apparatus (ASN), TNI / Polri or BUMN / BUMD employees.
Teten added that although MSMEs do not have an account, they can still register.
Because, subsequently, the actors of the MIPYMES that declare themselves entitled to receive assistance will be created by one of the channel banks.
