TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The names of two Polri generals were named in the alleged bribery and tip case.

The names of former Metro Jaya police chief Komjen Pol Mochamad Iriawan, aka Iwan Bule, and the head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), General Pol Purn Budi Gunawan, aka BG, were mentioned in the bribery trial Gratification of former Supreme Court Secretary (MA) Nurhadi and his son-in-law Rezky Herbiyono

The appearance of the two names was revealed by PT Multitrans Logistic Indonesia commissioner Hengky Soenjoto, who admitted that his younger brother, PT Multicon Indrajaya Terminal (MIT) director Hiendra Soenjoto, was told to contact the two people when Hiendra was in a dispute.

“Hiendra asked me to get in touch with several people, there was Haji Bakri, a mature figure in Surabaya. He was close to Pak Iwan Bule as Kapolda,” Hengky said when testifying for defendants Nurhadi and Rezky Herbiyono in the Court of Corruption in Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/11/2020).

Hengky explained that Hiendra asked him to contact several people when his younger brother had a dispute with PT MIT CFO Ashar Umar. He said that at the time Hiendra was a police suspect and was arrested.

“My details are not clear. At that time there was a problem in the Regional Police,” Hengky said.

Hearing Hengky’s statement, lawyer Wawan Yunarwanto asked him why Hiendra could contact them. According to him, Hiendra also asked Hengky to contact a person with the initials BG.

“So this is what Mr. Hiendra told me if you know Mr. BG well, Budi Gunawan sir. I just told him to pass it on. But I’m just asking for help sir,” Hengky said.

Furthermore, Hiendra also asked Hengky to contact Rezky Herbiyono, who is Nurhadi’s son-in-law. According to him, the request was made so that Hiendra was not imprisoned.

“Pak Hiendra asked me to speak, so that they ‘don’t put me in jail,'” Hengky said.
