PS5 can be ordered in Indonesia from December 18, this is the price

KOMPAS.com – Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore (SIES) has finally revealed when the PlayStation 5 game console can be purchased in Indonesia.

In a post on the PlayStation blog, SIES announced that the PlayStation 5 (PS5) could start ordering in Indonesia on December 18, 2020.

Like the global version, the Indonesian version of the PS5 will come in two variants, namely the standard variant and the digital variant. The difference between the two is that the digital version comes without a Blu-ray disc slot, so the game you play must be downloaded.

For the price of the PS5 in Indonesia, the PlayStation 5 is priced at IDR 7.3 million for the digital version (without a Blu-ray disc slot) and IDR 8.8 million for the standard version (with a slot for Blu-ray discs).

Although it can be ordered from December 18, 2020, the console unit will begin shipping to buyers and can be purchased online. disconnected as of January 22, 2021.

PS5 Specifications

In terms of specifications, this new console will come with an AMD Zen 2 (octa-core) processor clocked at 3.5 GHz. This processor is higher than the PS4 that is powered by 8 AMD Jaguar 1.6 GHz processors.

The PS5’s RAM capacity is also twice that of the PS4, which is 16GB. The graphics capabilities of the PS5 are also increased with AMD’s RDNA 2-based processor.

This graphics processor has 36 compute units (CU) and a computing power of 10.28 teraflops.

This figure is much higher than the PS4 GPU with 18 CU and 1.84 Teraflops of computing power.

The PS5 storage media has now changed to use a solid state drive (SSD) which has a much higher speed than the hard disk drive (HDD) on the PS4. With this storage medium, the loading time of the claimed game will be shorter.

The PS5 SSD with a capacity of 825 GB can still be expanded with an additional SSD. Not forgetting that the PS5 also includes support for higher image resolutions, that is, up to 8K, 4K with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 3D audio.
