jpnn.com, JAKARTA – West Java Police investigators have stopped investigating two cases of the FPI (Front of Islamic Defenders) Habib Rizieq Shihab.

First, the alleged defamation of Pancasila.

This case started when Sukmawati Soekarnoputri informed Habib Rizieq about the Rizieq conference, which was deemed defamatory of Pancasila.

Sukmawati reported on the matter on October 27, 2016.

Second, the case of alleged humiliation and harassment of Sundanese culture because Habib Riziew was suspected of having mocked the sampurasun salute.

This case was reported by the Sundanese People’s Alliance lawsuit to the Siliwangi Youth Force of West Java on November 24, 2015.

The chief of the Public Information Office of the Divhumas National Police, Brigadier General Pol Awi Setiyono, said that the West Java Regional Police had stopped investigating the two cases.

“The information we got was (SP3 aired),” Police Brigadier General Awi Setiyono said at the Bareskrim, Jakarta police office on Tuesday (11/10).
