The density of the masses that picked up Habib Rizieq Syihab (HRS) led to traffic jams and flight delays at Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) airport. In response to this incident, the PKB’s DPP chairman Daniel Johan had predicted that a crowd like this would be produced when Rizieq arrived in Indonesia.

The Vice President of Commission IV DPR RI assessed that the crowds that were willing to come en masse to pick up at Soetta airport expressed their longing for Rizieq. Therefore, this desire makes the consideration of health aspects less important.
“But the rice has turned into mush, the important thing is to be in order and maintain mutual security during harvesting. So far there has been input and appeal to avoid crowds for the benefit of all participants and the community, ”said Daniel.
“But perhaps this is an expression of the longing and joy that exists for health considerations to become less important. The government officially understands and we just pray that everything runs smoothly, in order and that everyone stays healthy.” he added.
Daniel lamented the crowd due to the mass of supporters that filled the Soetta airport area. He considered that the crowd had the potential to create a COVID-19 cluster. He also lamented the impact the crowd had on other potential passengers on the plane.
“We regret that this crowd, in addition to the potential to create clusters, also has an impact on other communities, such as airport users and to delay-your plane, “he said.
