A man named Sotong, from Bogor, died as he joined the crowd to welcome the Grand Priest of the FPI. Rizieq Shihab, Tuesday (11/10).

According to the information gathered, when the incident occurred, Sotong, who was standing, fell suddenly. Seeing this, the medical personnel at the scene immediately tried to help.
Medical officers are known to have given the victim oxygen. However, the victim’s life could not be avoided and he eventually died. Palmerah Police Chief AKP Hariyanto said his party was unable to confirm the cause of the victim’s death.
“We are still exploring the causes,” Hariyanto told reporters on Tuesday (11/10).
Hariyanto said the identification team was currently checking to determine the cause of the Bogor man’s death.
