Winda admitted that she did not know all the transactions that took place in her account, but she always received reports of interest on savings from her checking account.

He also did not use to consult through Internet banking because from the beginning his goal was to open an account just to save money.

“So that’s precisely what we don’t know either. We know we’ve received a checking account so far, so we receive interest,” Winda said.

Winda stressed that her father did not cooperate with Suspect A, who was known to be the head of the Maybank Cipulir branch.

“He’s very, very disappointed here, I’m upset, my father has always obeyed the law, so there is no possible cooperation between my father and the suspect, that’s what can be stressed,” Winda said.

Previously, PT Bank Maybank Indonesia revealed that the bank interest that Winda should have received was apparently sent by Suspect A to Herman Lunardi’s account.

This statement was disclosed by Hotman Paris as attorney and head of Maybank’s Financial Crimes Unit, Andiko.

“So we looked at Maybank account A, from there we saw that there was a flow of funds from A to the client’s parents, namely Herman Lunardi from another bank account,” Andiko told a press conference on Monday (11 / 9/2020).

“Then the interest on the savings, not from Maybank, but from A’s personal account, is credited to Herman Lunardi’s personal account,” Hotman continued.

Andiko said: A had known Herman Lunardi for a long time.

“So, for a long time, A knew the client’s parents before the client (Winda) became a Maybank client. She knew when A worked at 2 banks before she worked at Maybank,” he said.

Winda’s attorney, Joey Pattinasarany, previously explained that Winda and her mother had been saving at Maybank since 2015 in two separate accounts.

By 2020, the money in the second account should have reached IDR 20 billion.

“The total is Rp. 20 billion, with details (savings) of Winda Rp. 15 billion, the mother of Rp. 5 billion,” Joey said on Thursday (6/11/2020), quoted by Tribunnews .com.

However, both of them lost their savings and only Rp.600,000 remained in Winda’s account and Rp.17 million in Floletta’s account. This was discovered by Winda and her family in February 2020.

Because there was no good faith on Maybank’s part, the victim informed Bareskrim in May 2020.
