JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The attitude of Maybank Indonesia, which awaits a court decision on the refund of the money from Winda Earl that disappeared from her account, is completely absurd.
Winda Earl is adamant in demanding that Maybank be responsible for replacing lost money in the account.
“Client saves, client funds. We ask for reimbursement. We constantly request repayment. Ask about the bank’s responsibility as the bank that manages the client’s money,” Winda Earl’s attorney, Joey Pattinasarany, said at a conference on press covered by Kompas TV journalist Aulia Faradina. and Yohan Bagja, Monday (9/11/2020).
According to Joey, if you are required to wait for a court ruling that has permanent legal force, it doesn’t make sense.
“There is no legal basis that says we have to wait for a court decision,” Joey said.
