Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Ministry of Human Resources declare direct cash assistanceBLT) for 2,180,382 workers With salaries below 5 million rupees, the second wave started to roll out this Monday (September 11). This amount is in accordance with total data on workers reported to the Office of the State Treasury Service (KPPN).
“We confirmed that the second installment from BSU has been disbursed today. This afternoon I received a report that 2,180,382 recipient data has been processed from BSU to KPPN. It will then be transferred to the channel bank and disbursed to each recipient’s account. Ida said. in an official statement, on Monday (September 11).
Ida said the government was trying to make disbursements faster so workers could use them immediately amid pressure from the corona virus or the covid-19 pandemic.
“We try to make it in a week so that it is processed in two stages (batch) directly, so that it can be immediately accepted by co-workers / day laborers to help people’s purchasing power and consumption,” he said.
Nominally, the disbursement of the second batch of BLT subsidized by salary was the same as that of the first batch of Rp1.2 million per recipient. The funds come from a ceiling of Rs 600 lakhs per recipient per month, which is paid quickly for the period from November to December 2020.
The disbursement mechanism also follows the Regulation of the Minister of Labor Number 14 of 2020 on the Guidelines for the provision of government assistance in the form of wage subsidies for workers / laborers in managing the impact of the Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID -19).
The only difference, he said, was the number of recipients, which was expected to be smaller. This is in line with the recommendation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) that requests that disbursements be adjusted to fiscal data adjustments.
[Gambas:Video CNN]This recommendation came about because search results found that there were recipients who actually had salaries in excess of 5 million IDR per month. This is not in accordance with the criteria of the program.
Ida said the data collation process was also part of evaluating the distribution of BLT wage subsidies that were targeted.
“Therefore, after the installment payment was completed about two weeks ago, the Ministry of Manpower together with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan coordinated with the DGT to perform the data comparison. Alhamdulillah, we received the results last Friday and We can lay the groundwork for the second installment payment process today, “he explained.
It ensured that eligible workers would continue to receive the second batch of disbursements. Meanwhile, those that are not suitable are still being evaluated.
