Edinson Cavani has opened the tap for goals at Manchester United. The Uruguay player is considered to have started to appear as expected.

Man United beat Everton 3-1 in the English Premier League on Saturday (7/11/2020) at WIB night. The Red Devils were left behind first due to a goal from Bernard.

A pair of goals from Bruno Fernandes led United before the break. Edinson Cavani sealed MU’s victory with a goal late in the second half.

Cavani took 55 minutes to register his first Premier League goal. Former MU player Michael Owen felt that Cavani could be a good addition to MU.

Owen revealed the conditions for Cavani to be diligent in scoring goals for the Red Devils.

“He’s starting to perform as expected, he’s going to be a good (signing). Some brilliant players, however, some players don’t need crosses to the area. They can have an impact on the team,” Owen said on the website of the Premier League.

“I think he, I have seen him for years, I don’t see many players with a movement like him in the penalty area when the ball arrives.”

“Now, Manchester United in the past, he will score goals in that team. Now, are they going to send to the penalty area? Are they going to send a bait? And all that becomes their prey.”

“This is a good recruit, I just hope he gets the ammunition to fire bullets,” he added.

Cavani has never started at MU. In the five games he has played, he has always been a substitute player.
