Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

General Inspector (Inspector General) Pol Napoleon Bonaparte, the defendant in the case of suppression of the name of the fugitive Djoko Tjandra from people search listDPO), admitted to being abused by the state office for the things that got him. It does not clearly indicate who the state office is.

This was relayed by Napoleon in a follow-up session with the reading agenda of the objection or exception note at the Corruption Court in Jakarta on Monday (September 11).

Napoleon also stated that he was willing to erroneously prove the accusations regarding the receipt of money amounting to Sin $ 200 thousand and US $ 270 thousand charged by the Public Ministry (JPU).

“I feel oppressed by the text for the misrepresentation of the official statement of the state official on the charge to remove the red notice,” Napoleon said at the conference.

“The allegation of receiving my money is ready to be proven based on a plan to persecute us as state officials,” he continued.

Napoleon was tried for the case of removing Djoko Tjandra’s name from the Wanted List (DPO) that was registered with the General Directorate of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. He believes that the DPO is not under his authority as former Head of the International Relations Division (Kadivhubinter) at the National Police Headquarters.

In addition, according to him, the status of the red notice in the name of Djoko Tjandra number: A-1897 / 7-2009 has been removed from the Interpol database system since 2014 because there was no extension of the RI Prosecutor’s Office as requesting body .

“It should be noted that the red notice and the DPO in Immigration Simkim are two different things, so the removal of the name Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra from the DPO Simkim Immigration is not the authority of our client, the accused inspector general Napoleon Bonaparte,” was quoted in the letter of exception from Napoleon’s legal advisor that was read: Monday (September 11).

In this case, Napoleon was accused of accepting bribes of S $ 200 thousand and US $ 270 thousand or around Rp. 6 billion from the accused of corruption of collection rights (cessie) of Bank Bali, Djoko Tjandra.

The bribery was intended to get Napoleon to remove Djoko Tjandra’s name from the wanted list (DPO) registered with the General Directorate of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
