Jakarta –
Petronas Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo slowly bowed as the European MotoGP finished. He made a mistake that gave him the opportunity to become a world champion.
At the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Sunday (8/11/2020), Joan Mir, who won the 12th race of MotoGP 2020, devoured 27 rounds with a time of 41 minutes 37.297 seconds.
The good result of the rival was even more suffocating for Quartararo. In an attempt to score the points, the French driver crashed just after the start.
Quartararo’s motorcycle tire lost its grip, falling along with Aleix Espargaró even though there was no contact between the two.
Quartarao was able to continue the race and even finish. His fourteenth place earned him 2 points.
The distance between Quartararo and Joan Mir in the MotoGP classification is now wide. Quartararo has 125 points, the same as Alex Rins, 37 points behind Joan Mir.
MotoGP 2020 now leaves two more series. MotoGP Valencia and MotoGP Portugal will compete.
Even though it is running out, Quartararo still has a chance to become a world champion. With the maximum of 50 points that can be achieved in the rest of the season, in the role Quartararo can surpass Mir’s score.
The MotoGP Twitter is encouraging for Quartararo. Reminded not to give up until the end of the 2020 MotoGP series.
