Liverpool –
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was again dissatisfied with Manchester United’s schedule in the Premier League. He accused someone of deliberately wanting the Red Devils to lose.
This was said by Solskjaer after MU beat Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park on Saturday (7/11/2020) at WIB night. MU fell behind first through Bernard’s goal in the 19th minute.
Bruno Fernandes became a hero in the first half with a pair of goals that put United 2-1 ahead. Edinson Cavani, who scored MU’s third goal in injury time.
The victory could at least relieve MU, who was hit by criticism after two successive defeats. However, behind the good results, Solskjaer still seems upset with his team’s schedule.
Because MU had just returned from Istanbul on Thursday morning and had to compete again on Saturday afternoon. As a result, many players were tired, including Luke Shaw, who was injured in this match.
“We deliberately want them to lose us. The start time is problematic for us. We just got back from Turkey, we played a lot of games this season, we came back here Thursday morning and we immediately played Saturday afternoon, really ridiculous,” he said Solskjaer. BT Sport.
“The players deserve better. Luke Shaw is injured because of that. He may be out for a long time with a hamstring injury and Marcus Rashford is struggling too,” he continued.
“It seems that the league wants us to fail, so who is responsible? We are fed up. The players are physically and psychologically exhausted in a pandemic like this. We should have played on Sundays, because after that there is an international hiatus. It is ridiculous”.
Manchester United temporarily climbed to 13th place in the Premier League standings with 10 points from seven games.
