Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Presidential candidate United States of America of the Democratic Party, Joe biden, he will surely be the winner of the 2020 United States presidential election. He also states that he will stand out by winning more than 300 electoral votes.
In fact, a candidate can take over the White House by winning 270 of the 538 contested electoral votes.
“We are already on our way to winning more than 300 electoral votes. Look at the current national figures,” Joe Biden said in a speech.
By tentative estimates, Joe Biden currently leads with 253 electoral votes. Meanwhile, current presidential candidate Donald Trump received 213 electoral votes.
Pennsylvania, which has 20 electoral votes so far, has not announced the final results.
However, Biden appears to be getting ahead of Trump. CNN reported, Biden is now estimated to have 28,833 more votes than Trump in five key states, namely Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Therefore, if Joe Biden is seeded by Pennsylvania, then he will become the elected president of the United States with 273 electoral votes.
Not only that, but six states are still counting votes, and vote growth is slowing. The state of Georgia is even planning a recount.
“24 hours ago we were behind in Georgia, now we are ahead and we are going to win that state. 24 hours ago we were also behind in Pennsylvania and we will win that. Now we are winning and winning in Arizona and Nevada,” he said.
“We will win this race with a clear majority and together with the American people.”
Separately, the White House announced that Donald Trump would not appear in public this week. However, on Friday (11/6) afternoon local time, Trump asked Biden not to claim to be the winner of the 2020 US elections through his official Twitter account.
“Joe Biden shouldn’t just claim the presidency. I can make that claim too. The legal process is just beginning,” Donald Trump tweeted.
In his latest sneak peek, Donald Trump also re-revealed the fraud allegations by claiming he had the advantage to get votes in multiple states that were later deemed to have disappeared in just a few days.
This led him to ask the United States Supreme Court to stop counting votes.
