Georgia is the United States (US) state that determines the results of the 2020 US presidential election. If Joe Biden wins Georgia, he will win the 2020 presidential election. So far, Biden has surpassed Donald Trump.
This data was reported by the Associated Press (AP) on Saturday (7/11/2020) at 1:45 WIB.
The vote count in Georgia has reached 99%, that is, it is not over. Biden got 49.4% and Trump has also got 49.4% so far.
However, Biden is slightly superior on sound with 2,450,193 votes. Donald Trump got 2,448,635 votes. So, Biden was ‘thin’ ahead of Trump by a difference of 1,558 votes.
There were 538 electoral votes contested by the presidential candidates. It took 270 electoral votes (more than half of the total electoral votes) to win the US presidential election. Georgia has 16 electoral votes.
According to the AP, Biden has obtained 264 electoral votes. If you win in Georgia, you will get an additional 16 electoral votes. In other words, the condition to win the US presidential election in the form of 270 electoral votes will be exceeded, because 264 (current votes from Biden) plus 16 electoral votes (from Georgia) is 280 electoral votes.
