Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The presidential election of the United States (USA) was officially held on Tuesday (03/11/2020) in the morning local time, or in the evening Indonesian time.
Until now, Americans are still voting to get the result between current Republican Donald Trump or his Democratic rival Joe Biden.
Reporting from USA TodayAt least 101.2 million people voted at the beginning of the elections. The number of voting citizens is expected to exceed 150 million people in total.
Still, in six states, voting has closed. Namely, in Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia.

Despite winning the public vote, presidential candidates still have to win the Electoral College vote if they want to advance to the White House. They must get 270 votes out of a total of 538 votes.
