Donald John Trump He was born shortly after the end of World War II, in June 1946. He is the fourth child of New York real estate moguls Fred Trump and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump. Despite his family’s wealth, he was expected to do the humblest jobs in his father’s company and was sent to a military academy at the age of 13 after he began misbehaving at school.
He attended the University of Pennsylvania and became a favorite candidate to replace his father in the family business after his older brother, Fred, decided to become a pilot.

Joseph Robinette BidenJr He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1942. He was the first of four children in an Irish-American Catholic family.
Joe’s biggest challenge when he was young was dealing with a speech disorder. He stuttered until high school. Joe practiced speaking in front of the mirror for several months until he was finally able to speak fluently.
Biden attended the University of Delaware and then continued his law studies at Syracuse University.
He later married his first wife, Neilia, and began his political career in Wilmington.

Trump said he entered the real estate business on a “small” loan of $ 1 million from his father, before joining Fred Trump’s company.
There, he helped manage a large housing portfolio in New York City, which eventually took control of the company. In 1971, he named it the Trump Organization.
Six years later, Donald Trump married his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova, a Czech athlete and model. His children from his first marriage, Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric, now help run the Trump Organization, although he remains the CEO.

Joe Biden was eagerly awaiting a seat in the United States Senate, having been elected in 1972 when the tragedy struck.
His wife and young daughter, Naomi, died in a car accident. His sons, Beau and Hunter, were seriously injured.
Biden famously swore in for his first term as a Democratic senator from his young children’s hospital room.

In the late 1970s, Trump became increasingly ambitious, shifting his focus from his Brooklyn and Queens properties to posh Manhattan.
After turning a dilapidated hotel into a Grand Hyatt, he went on to build Trump’s most famous property: the 68-story Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue. The building opened in 1983.
Other properties with his name followed – Trump Place, Trump World Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower – and his powerful brand began to attract media attention.
But not everything it touches turns to gold. Trump’s efforts have led to four bankruptcy filings.

During his first 14 years in Washington, Biden rebuilt his personal life after the death of his wife and daughter.
He is committed to giving his children a normal life and commutes daily from his family home in Delaware to his offices in Washington DC.
Eventually, he remarried a school teacher named Jill Jacobs. They have a son named Ashley.
Biden served on the Senate Judiciary Committee and began building a national profile.
In 1987, he pitched his first chance as president of the United States, but resigned after he was accused of plagiarism over a speech by British Labor leader Neil Kinnock.

Ownership alone is not enough for Trump and he is expanding into the entertainment sector. Trump built a series of beauty pageants in 1996: Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. In his personal life, after parting ways with Ivana, he married actress Marla Maples in 1993.
They had a daughter, Tiffany, before divorcing in 1999, the same year that Trump’s father died.
“My father was my inspiration,” Trump said at the time.

On October 11, 1991, the American public was glued to their television when Anita Hill, a law professor at the University of Oklahoma, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The committee is holding a hearing on the candidacy for the United States Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas. Hill accused him of sexually abusing her on multiple occasions while they both worked for the Reagan administration.
As chair of the committee, Joe Biden presided over the trial. His handling of Hill’s evidence has long been criticized.
The hearing was conducted by an all-white panel, all men and several women who appeared willing to support Hill were not summoned by Biden to testify.
Speaking in a television interview in April 2019, Biden said that he “regretted the ways [Hill] treated “.

In 2003, Trump appeared on a new reality television show that highlighted his reputation as a businessman and media personality.
The show is called The Apprentice and features contestants competing for opportunities for management positions at Trump’s company.
He hosted the show for 14 seasons and claimed in the form of financial statements that the television network had paid him a total of $ 213 million (Rp. 3.1 billion) during the show.

Biden had another shot at becoming president in 2008 before dropping out of the fight.
Although his campaign failed, he returned later that year in a role that took him to the international stage. On August 23, 2008, Obama introduced Joe Biden as his running mate.

In June 2015, Trump officially announced that he was following the nomination process for the White House.

In a surprise ceremony in the final days of his presidency, Obama presented Biden with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
“Meeting Joe Biden means knowing unpretentious love, service without dignity, and living life to the fullest,” the president said at the time.
Their partnership was successful, but it was not without trauma for Biden, whose son Beau died of brain cancer in 2015 at the age of 46.
Beau is seen as a rising star in American politics and intends to run for governor of the state of Delaware in 2016.

Trump’s re-election campaign takes place amid the coronavirus pandemic, in which 230,000 Americans have died and the president himself is infected.

The division of the two presidential rivals over the coronavirus has deepened, with Biden calling the president’s handling of the worsening coronavirus crisis “an insult” to his victims.
“Even if I win, it will take a lot of work to end this pandemic,” he said. “I promise you this: we will start the first day to do the right thing.”
More than 90 million Americans voted early, many of them by mail, in a record increase in votes fueled by the pandemic.
