The former head of the International Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police (Kadivhubinter), Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte (NB), was called by the prosecutor to ask for more than Rs 7 billion in bribes from Djoko Tjandra to hand over to their high command. In response to this, the National Police explained and said that the prosecution charge against Napoleon was not in the investigation report (BAP).

Awi then asked why this statement appeared in court without being mentioned in the BAP. Awi called on all parties to keep waiting for new developments.
“Yesterday when the demands were read, the interested party transmitted them. Afterwards, we are waiting for how the progress is, of course we will pay attention together, of course it becomes the evaluation material in question. I see“When they examined me, why didn’t I broadcast it in the past, but why is it now in court to broadcast it?” He said.
Awi said the prosecutor’s charges were a statement from Napoleon himself. You have also consulted directly with the investigator on this matter, but the statement in question is not in the BAP.
“No (the accusation), the confession. Yesterday I asked the investigator, he said he was not (at the BAP),” Awi said.
Awi said the team of public prosecutors (JPU) has the right to re-examine the suspect. This can be done if there are things that are not clear.
“But thus, the prosecutor has the right to reexamine. If there is something that is not clear, it can be examined. But I ask the investigator that,” he added.
As is known, Inspector General Napoleon called the prosecutor alluding to the ‘higher ups’ in the chaos of the flow of bribes from Joko Soegiarto Tjandra alias Djoko Tjandra. The prosecutor called Napoleon asking for Rp.7 billion to attend to the disposal needs red notice and the fugitive status of Djoko Tjandra, who was convicted in the Bank Bali collection rights case.
This was revealed by the indictment that the prosecutor read in the trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Monday (2/11). Inspector General Napoleon, accused of taking bribes, is suspected of asking Djoko Tjandra for more bribes on the grounds that he was not alone.
