“In the Populi and Pusdeham poll, Eri-Armuji was superior to Machfud-Mujiaman by a difference of 3 percent to 6.5 percent,” Anas said when confirmed, on Tuesday (3/11).
Meanwhile, in Poltracking Indonesia’s survey, Machfud-Mujiaman scored 51.7 percent eligibility, while Eri-Armuji only received 34.1 percent. That means there is a difference of 17.6 percent.
The next indicator that is also doubtful, Anas said, is the popularity of the Mujiaman deputy mayor candidate who is supposed to surpass Armuji. Mujiaman with 60.2 percent, while Armuji with 59.6 percent.
“It’s a bit strange because of the level of recognition or popularity,” he said.
Armuji even became a PDIP legislative member for the East Java provincial DPRD who won the most cross-party votes during the 2019 elections, for East Java Election 1. It obtained 136,308 votes. Meanwhile, Poltracking Indonesia Research Manager Masduri said differences in survey results could occur from one institution to another. He certainly admitted that he could be held responsible for the results of his survey in Surabaya.
