Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati asked the Education Fund Management Institute scholars (LPDP) contribute to the state and not just become critics or whistleblowers.

The reason is, Sri Mulyani said, that Indonesia needs many graduates who have consistent solutions to solve various problems that are happening in society.

“I ask the LPDP to be the warehouse of people who have not only complained about seeing and where there are problems and only talking about it, and much less cynical, but now only do what they can do,” he said in a study General held by the LPDP, on Monday (2/11).

Sri Mulyani also quoted John F. Kennedy to make the public not ask what the state could provide, but rather ask what the people could give the state.

“Never ask what the country can give me, I think it’s about time you ask what you can give for the Republic of Indonesia, ”said the former World Bank managing director.

He also hopes that LPDP graduates will not only learn from what they get in college, but also what they get in the environment in which they study.

In addition, scholarship recipients are also expected to be able to contribute to society after completing their studies not only because of the LPDP contract, but also because of the passion for solving problems that exist in society.

“If your mentality is cave What else will you get? after this cave I want to find what to do cave again, if you are like this attitude it will continue to print, maybe you can be successful but it is not very useful in my opinion, “he said.
