Everton have lost for the second time in a row in the Premier League. Visiting the Newcastle United cage, The Toffees fell 1-2.
At St. James Park, Sunday (11/1/2020), Newcastle threatened first through Callum Wilson in the 7th minute, but his shot still bounced off Everton’s goal guarded by Robin Olsen.

However, the time remaining is not enough for Everton to escape defeat. Newcastle’s 2-1 lasted until the end. These results bring The Magpies to tenth position in the standings with 11 points from 7 games.
As for Everton, they failed to close the gap with Liverpool at the top of the standings, and Carlo Ancelotti’s squad is now in second place with 13 points from 7 games.
