JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Former Pangkostrad who became president of the Harley-Davidson group said that the incident that occurred between members of his group and members of TNI was a mere misunderstanding.

This phrase was uttered by former (retired) Pangkostrad Lieutenant General Djamari Chaniago on a Madaysinatra YouTube channel.

“It’s over, don’t ask any more questions. Pak Dandim is there, Pak Subdenpom is there. It’s just a misunderstanding. Common, even a small matter can become big,” he said.

While responding to the problems that occurred in the incident at Tarok Simpang, Djamari said: “Nothing. Driving a motorcycle, it was very crowded. It could fall.”

In the video, Djamari, who wears a green shirt with the words Long Way Up Sabang Island, answers questions from various people around him. It is not yet known where this conversation took place.

Djamari also confirmed that the moge group had no activities after the incident in Tarok Simpang. The group will carry out activities or continue their trip if they have received permission from Bukittinggi Police Chief, AKBP Dody Prawiranegara.
