Ganjar Pranowo decided to increase the Central Java UMP for 2021 by 3.27% or an increase from Rp 56,963.9 to Rp 1,798,979. He said that the basis for determining the UMP was based on Government Regulation (PP) Number 78 of 2015 on wages. In this calculation, the increase in the PSU uses the calculation of inflation and economic growth.

The increase in UMP was also carried out by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X in Yogyakarta. With this, the UMP for Yogyakarta next year is set at Rp 1,765,000 or an increase of 3.54%.

He explained that the Governor’s decision to raise the UMP in 2021 took into account the recommendations of the DIY Wage Council. This recommendation is the result of the plenary session of the Yogyakarta Salary Council attended by all three elements of the Salary Council.

The UMP of Jakarta, Anies said, has also considered the value of GDP and national inflation, the increase in the UMP is 3.27% (three point twenty seven percent), according to Government Regulation Number 78 of 2015 on Salaries.
