Two TNI soldiers were beaten by several members of the Harley Owners Group Siliwangi Bandung Chapter (HOG SBC) motorcycle club during a convoy in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. TNI explained how the incident occurred.

This incident happened on Friday (10/30) around 5:00 p.m. WIB. The case started when two members of the TNI with the rank of serda, namely Serda M Yusuf and Serda Mistari, stopped their vehicle when a convoy of motorcycles passed through Jl Dr Hamka, Bukittinggi.

It turned out that a group of convoys were left behind and were riding their motorcycles arrogantly, causing Serda Yusuf and Serda Mistari’s motorcycles to hit the shoulder of the road. Several members of the HOG SBC moge who were abandoned by the group showed their arrogance.

“When the MOGE entourage preceded Serda M Yusuf, who was riding with Serda Mistari, he gave the impression of being rude,” TNI AD military commander Puspom, Lieutenant General Dodik Widjanarko, said in a written statement Saturday (10/31/ 2020).

The arrogant action of the members of the SBC HOG was demonstrated playing with the gas of the motorcycle. Serda Yusuf and Serda Mistari chased the group with the intention of giving a warning. The two cut off one of the convoy participants, at the Tarok Bukittinggi intersection.

Not receiving the stop, the HOG SBC members later argued with Serga Yusuf and Serda Mistari. Until finally several members of the moge club teamed up against 2 TNI soldiers serving at Kodim 0304 / Agam.

“In the end there was a beating (joint pursuit) of the two Army soldiers,” explained Dodik.
