JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV: As of November 1, 2020, BPJS participants in the segment of salaried workers of state officials (PPU PN) and non-workers (BP) must re-register their membership.

This policy follows the re-enrollment program (GILANG) for some JKN-KIS participants from the segments of state civil servants (PPU PN) and salaried workers (BPJS) not employed (BP).

This program was carried out in order to follow up on the KPK recommendations, the results of the BPKP audit for the financial year 2018 and the results of the meetings with ministries / agencies.

BPJS Kesehatan provides the public with the opportunity to update the data if the KIS card has not been filled in with the Population Identification Number (NIK) data, or has been completed but not in accordance with the KTP, or has not been registered in the Dukcapil of the Ministry of the Interior.

According to BPJS Head of Public Relations Kesehatan M. Iqbal Anas Ma’ruf, not all BPJS Kesehatan participants have re-registered, but only JKN-KIS participants in the PPU PN and BP segment have no NIK data.

“The number (which requires registration) is not much. If you can show your e-KTP to update, it will be active at that time,” he said.

Before re-registering, JKN-KIS participants can verify their membership status via:

  • JKN Mobile App Information Service
  • Whatsapp (CHIKA) at 08118750400
  • BPJS 1500400 Healthcare Center
  • A BPJS officer! who’s in the hospital
  • KPK JAGA App
