Explanation of prisons
The Acting Head of Pekanbaru Prison, Alfonsus Wisnu Ardianto, confirmed that there was an argument between the police and the guards.
This started when the police just wanted to show an assignment letter to the prison leadership.
“It turned out that the Riau Police team was not yet willing to show the assignment letter, because they wanted to meet directly with the prison management to transmit it (the prisoners’ examination). As we know, there was a discussion,” he said Alfonsus.
According to him, the warden has contacted the officer on duty.
However, due to the holidays, the officers took a long time to get to the prison.
“It turns out that due to the holidays, it took a long time to go to the office, which caused the impatience of the Riau Police team. This is not their fault either, because they waited too long, so they got angry and got out of jail “Alfonsus said.

Alfonsus admitted that he was negligent in allowing the cell phone to enter the detention room.
“We admit that there is clear negligence. However, we always try to maintain cleanliness in terms of cell phone circulation inside. But all that requires the maximum of hard work. Why, because these things keep happening ”, said Alfonsus.
