Apparently, this boycott did not arise in vain. It all started with the words of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
French President Emmanuel Macron initially commented on the beheading experienced by a teacher named Samuel Paty.
Samuel Paty, who is a history teacher at Perasncis, is known for showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in his class.
“One of our citizens was killed today because he taught his students about freedom of expression,” Macron was quoted as saying by Reuters’ KabarJoglosemar.com.
Not only that, in addition, Emmanuel Macron also issued words about Islam that offended Muslims.
“Islam is a religion that is in crisis right now, all over the world,” Macron said.
According to Macron, the beheading of the history professor was an Islamic terrorist attack. Macron also accused Muslims of being separatists.
