In a lewd way, Erdogan calls Charlie Hebdo an idiot

ANKARA, KOMPAS.com – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the French satirical magazine Charlie hebdo “idiot”, after he was described in a lewd way.

Not only that. Ankara also plans to propose “diplomatic and legal actions” after a cartoon of the president is published on the cover.

In the front cartoon, the former mayor of Istanbul is shown wearing only his underwear and carrying a can of beer.

Erdogan himself had previously asked the public to boycott “Wine Country” products, after Macron refused to remove the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

Paris responded immediately by calling its ambassador in Ankara. Charlie hebdo he himself had been the target of anger in 2015.

At the time, 12 of his staff were killed by two brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi, after they previously uploaded a picture of the controversy.
