jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The head of the Covid-19 Management Working Group, Doni Monardo, said that the cure rate and efforts to reduce the spread of the corona virus in Indonesia are improving.
According to Doni, these efforts need to be continually improved so that Indonesia is free from the Covid-19 virus.
“We are grateful that this month there has been very encouraging progress. The patients who have recovered have reached more than 315 thousand people, ”Doni said in a virtual discussion. KCPEN Update: Covid-19 Security Principles at the Graha National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/27).
Doni said the number was very large. “A very large number compared to the initial position, our recovery rate is very small,” he continued.
The director of BBNPB added that the percentage recovery rate reached 80.84 percent compared to the accumulated cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia so far. According to him, the cure rate also continues to rise compared to the average global case of Covid-19 a month ago.
“Previously, a month ago, we were still below the global recovery average. Now, the difference between us and the global one is 7.24 percent. This is, of course, the hard work of the team of doctors,” he said Doni.
Former Danjen Kopassus explained that the number of daily active Covid-19 cases also improved in October 2020 compared to September. Active Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, he continued, are far from the world average, which is 15.74 percent.
“Currently in several countries an increase in cases is being experienced, while in our country it can be stable and survive, although some provinces have experienced an increase,” explained Doni.
