ABU DHABI – The United States fighter, Justin Gaethje, also recognized the toughness of Khabib Nurmagomedov. After being knocked down by Khabib at UFC 254, Gaethje also called Khabib a monster.
Gaethje just faced Khabib in the race for the UFC lightweight champion belt. The match was featured at UFC 254 that took place on Fight Island, which is located in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Sunday, October 25, 2020, on the morning of the WIB.
Unfortunately, Gaethje failed to win over The Eagle, Khabib’s nickname. He gave up when the duel barely entered the second round. Gaethje surrendered after getting a lock on the triangle choke, which was a pillar of Khabib.

After swallowing the defeat, Gaethje also recognized Khabib’s toughness. He even directly conveyed his views on Khabib’s strength after the duel ended.
When he was about to hug after the duel, Gaethje told Khabib that his rival was a monster. The hug was warmly received by Khabib.
“Awesome work, man. You’re a monster,” Gaethje told Khabib, quoted by ESPN on Monday (10/26/2020).
