Malaysian rulers push for national emergency survival in Malaysia

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s proposal to implement a nationwide state of emergency in Malaysia rejected the Malaysian rulers.

It is mentioned that Yang di-Pertuan Agong has reviewed the request that has been submitted by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in Istana Abdul Aziz, Kuantan, Pahang, on Friday (10/23/2020).

The request is for the implementation of Article 150 (1) of the Emergency Article and the Declaration of Emergency Rules 2020 in accordance with Article 150 (2B) of the Federal Law to combat the threat of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country.

“Sultan Abdullah feels that the government has managed to deal well with this epidemic and have an impact. He strongly relies on the prime minister’s government to continue implementing compliance policies and actions to curb the Covid-19 epidemic,” he said.

He also reminded members of political parties to drop everything. “politicking“which disturbs the stability of the government.

“Sultan Abdullah believes that no member of parliament continues irresponsible actions that could alter the stability of the government,” he said.

Sultan Abdullah is of the opinion that the 2021 State Budget Project to be presented in the parliamentary session is very important for the people in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak and restoring the country’s economy.
