JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Program Implementation Management Pre-Employment Cards (PMO) have closed the opportunity for the participants of the Lot 9 Pre-Employment Card program to purchase their first training on Friday (10/23/2020).

PMO Communications Chief Prakerja Card said that up to 28,786 Pre-Employment Card recipients have had their participation revoked because they did not purchase their first training.

“For batch 9, 28,786 memberships have been withdrawn,” he told Kompas.com, on Sunday (10/25/2020).

Previously, the number of program beneficiaries whose membership was revoked in the first batch was as high as 8 to 344,959 people. Thus, in total, the number of participants whose membership has been revoked is 373,745 people.

In Permenko No. 11/2020 he explained that each recipient of the Pre-Employment Card has 30 days to purchase the first training since they received an SMS announcement of the Pre-Employment Card. If the program recipient has not purchased the training after the deadline, the membership will be revoked.

Previously, the government stated that it would use the Prior Work Card incentive funds that had been returned to the state general treasury (RKUN) account to open the record for lot 11.

This was revealed by the head of the executive team of the Employment Creation Committee, Rudy Salahuddin. However, Rudy, who is also one of the deputies of the Coordinating Ministry of the Economy, did not give further details on when the registration for lot 11 of pre-employment cards would be opened.

The government has budgeted Rs 20 trillion for the implementation of the Pre-Work Card program this year. The details are IDR 5.6 billion for training costs, IDR 13.45 billion for incentives, IDR 840 billion for survey funds, and IDR 100 million for project management office (PMO).

Each participant in the Pre-Work Card program will receive government assistance worth IDR 3.55 million.

Support consists of a 1 million IDR training support fee that cannot be disbursed (for training costs only). In addition, the incentive to complete the training is Rs 600,000 per month for 4 months and Rs 150,000 for employment survey incentives.
