The second son of the King of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Prince Haji Abdul Azim, died. Brunei Darussalam also established a seven-day mourning period.

“Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s son, Prince Haji ‘Abdul’ Azim died on Rabiul 17 (October 24) at 10:08 a.m. local time. The funeral will take place during the Ashar (noon) prayer this afternoon,” it read. in the ad.
According to news reports, a Brunei source said the prince had been in the hospital for some time. The source also said that Brunei was in a seven-day period of mourning.
Instructions sent to residents, according to local reports, read: ‘Muslim women should wear a white hood or headscarf, and non-Muslims should wear 3-inch (7.6 cm) wide white armbands.’ .
Prince Azim, who died at the age of 38, was born in Bandar Seri Begawan on July 29, 1982. He studied at Brunei International School, Singapore Raffles Institute, and Oxford Brookes University.
According to the Borneo Bulletin newspaper, the late Prince of Brunei was buried in the Royal Mausoleum in the capital on Saturday.
