jpnn.com, PEKANBARU – Riau Police Chief Inspector General Setya Imam Effendi was furious at the actions of his subordinates Kompol Imam Zaidi Zaid, alias IZ, which put the National Police institution to shame.

This is because Kompol IZ was arrested in connection with the distribution of methamphetamine-type drugs. The evidence is not small, reaching 16 kilograms.

The anger of Inspector General Setya Imam Effendi was also evident at the press conference to reveal the case in Pekanbaru on Saturday (10/24).

Inspector General Agung even considers that Commissioner Imam Zaidi, who was arrested along with another suspect, HW, is no longer a member of the National Police.

“Now it is no longer (the police). I hope the judge will decide the appropriate sentence for traitors to this nation,” said Inspector General Setya.

Kompol Imam Zaidi’s involvement was revealed by the Riau Police Directorate of Narcotics Investigation. He was even involved in a chase with a police team in Jalan Soekarno Hatta, city of Pekanbaru, on Friday night (10/23).

Initially, the Ditresnarkoba team of the Riau police discovered that the car carried by the two suspects stopped at Jalan Parit Indah, Pekanbaru city.

When the police found out, they turned to Jalan Sudirman for the instructor to do it.
