KOMPAS.com – Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has officially announced his retirement from mixed martial arts (MMA).

Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement from the MMA event, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), just after defeating his challenger, Justin Gaethje, at UFC 254.

UFC 254’s main card battle, Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje, took place after it was held on Sunday (10/25/2020) at the morning WIB, in Fight Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates .

The Khabib vs Gaethje battle was the final duel for The Eagle, the nickname of the Russian fighter.
