JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government has launched several grants to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to be able to return to their businesses in the middle of a pandemic.
One of the grants is Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres) or Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), which is granted up to IDR 2.4 million (BLT UMKM) per microenterprise actor.
The Finance deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Hanung Harimba Rachman, said that his party continues to open opportunities for MSMEs that want to take over this BLT.

For this reason, he also requested the regional heads or regional cooperative offices to immediately send their UMKMs and provide all the data to the ministry.

He also explained, for MSMEs that wish to apply or register in the cooperative service, they must bring the necessary data such as Identity Number (NIK), Full Name and Identity Card (KTP), residence address, business line and telephone number . .
Meanwhile, the Minister for Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki stated that, although this aid is given as a grant or is free, not all micro-enterprise actors deserve this help.
This is because there are several conditions that must be met, namely micro-entrepreneurs who currently do not receive working capital and investment loans from banks. (not bankable), the business actor is an Indonesian citizen and has a Population Identification Number (NIK) as evidenced by a proposal letter from the applicant.
Not only that, the microentrepreneurs are not members of the State Public Administration (ASN), TNI / Polri or employees of BUMN / BUMD.
“This is assistance in the form of grants, not loans. Therefore, those who can get this assistance are those who cannot receive funds,” he said.
