BEKASI, KOMPAS.TV – The perpetrator who carelessly dumped the bag full of rubbish at Jalan Inspeksi Canal Kalimalang, Bekasi Regency, finally turned himself in to the Metropolitan Police of Bekasi, West Java, on Thursday (10/22/2020).

This was recognized by the Bekasi metro police chief, the Bekasi metro police commissioner, Kombes Pol Hendra Gunawan.

According to him, a car driver who went viral for littering in Kalimalang had given up.

“Not arrested, he turned himself in (to the Bekasi Metro Police),” Hendra said when contacted on Thursday (10/22/2020), quoted by Kompas.com.

Hendra revealed, based on the perpetrator’s admission, that the garbage bags dumped on the vacant lot next to the Kalimalang road were household waste.

However, Hendra has not explained in detail the reasons why the driver disposes of the trash improperly.
