The cause of death of Yulia (42), a woman who was found in flames in a car in Sukoharjo, remains a mystery. Family members said the victims often drove Solo-Wonogiri.

One of the relatives, who declined to be named, said that Yulia and her husband, Ahmad Yani, were from Solo. However, both of them have lived in Wonogiri for a long time.

“She (Yulia) helps her mother trade at her house in Kalilarangan (Solo) in the afternoon. She comes back to Wonogiri in the afternoon, but I don’t know every day or what,” she said when meeting at Thiong’s funeral home. Ting, Solo, on Wednesday (10/21/2020).

He said the burning car belonged to Yulia. The victims, he said, often drove alone.

“Yes, it belongs to Yulia. In fact, they often drive themselves,” said a relative of Yulia’s husband.

He said Yulia’s husband was still reluctant to tell about the incident. He himself knew about the incident from media coverage.

“Maybe he’s still grieving. I haven’t told you anything yet. He said it was just an accident. I found out about the incident after reading the news,” he explained.

As previously reported, the bodies of the victims and the burning car were found at Hamlet Cendono Baru RT 4/7 Sugihan Village, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency. Police have already processed the crime scene (TKP) to investigate the car fire case.

The result was that there was duct tape on the hand of the corpse of the woman burned in the car.

“The results from the crime scene on the victim’s hand were found with tape, insulation,” said today the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukoharjo Police, AKP Muhammad Alfan.

The victim’s body was also subjected to an autopsy at Dr. Moewardi Hospital in Solo. Currently, the police are still looking for the owner of the car or who was driving the car.
