Polri knows that Brigadier General EP is involved with LGBT due to a complaint

Brigjen EP was declared by the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKE) to commit shameful acts because he was involved in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) groups. The National Police initially said they knew Brigadier General EP was involved in the group due to a complaint.

“What is clear is that we have taken action. Of course, based on police reports, there are complaints,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono at Police Headquarters, on Wednesday ( 10/21/2020).

Awi said his party’s task is to investigate whether or not members other than Brigadier General EP are involved in LGBT groups. Awi said he would conduct an internal evaluation on the case of LGBT staff.

“(So far, LGBT people are also involved) that is our internal PR related to that phenomenon, to be evaluated,” he said.

Earlier, the Deputy Inspector General of the Human Resources Police (like HR) Sutrisno Yudi Hermawan said that Brigjen EP had been sanctioned for being involved with LGBT people. The National Police imposed sanctions I do not work to Brigjen EP until she retires.

“One of the sanctions is I do not work (he was not given a position) until retirement, “said Yudi Hermawan detikcom, Tuesday (10/20).

Yudi explained that the Brigadier General EP case involving LGBT had been completed at the end of last year. Brigjen EP has been questioned by the Police Propam Division and was sanctioned at the end of 2019.

“He has been examined, tried and sanctioned by Div Propam headquarters at the end of 2019,” explained Yudi.
