Suara.com – Several TNI Marine Corps personnel were dispatched to disband the dominated crowd without an alma mater. They gathered and carried out an arson around the area of the horse statue leading to Jalan MH Thamrin, in central Jakarta.
According to Suara.com monitoring at the scene, hundreds of members of the Navy showed up to secure massive action in the area of the horse statue. One of the officers using loudspeakers called on the masses to turn immediately to the right.
According to him, TNI personnel would escort the masses back home until they were safe. He also promised that there would be no repressive actions until the kidnapping took place.
“We will monitor the home of the younger siblings. We guarantee that they will not be kidnapped. If someone is kidnapped, please report,” said one of the officers through a loudspeaker at the scene, on Tuesday (10/20/2020).

The mass arts also retreated to Jalan MH Thamrin. A cloud of smoke could be seen rising and fire was burning in the middle of the crowd.
Earlier, a mass of students from the Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) alliance who held a demonstration against the Omnibus Law on Job Creation in the Horse Statue Area in central Jakarta began to turn right and dissolve.
Based on Suara.com’s tracking at the site, it appears that they disbanded around 4.30pm WIB. The command cars appear to be turning immediately from the horse statue area.
The mass of BEM SI students previously delivered an ultimatum to President Joko Widodo. They urged Jokowi to immediately issue a Government Regulation instead of a law (Perppu) to cancel the Ciptaker Law.
