Ander Herrera faces Manchester United in Working day I Champions League this season. The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder revealed that MU is different now.
PSG will host MU at Parc des Princes, on Wednesday (10/21/2020) at the morning WIB in Working day I Champions League. This match was the moment of Ander Herrera’s reunion with MU, with whom he played for five seasons until 2019.
While at MU, Herrera won four trophies: the FA Cup, the English League Cup, the Community Shield, and the Europa League. One thing that hasn’t changed regarding Manchester United since Herrera was there and has now moved on is that the Premier League title has not been won again.
While at PSG, Herrera has a different mission, the Champions League. PSG have no opponents in France and have indeed had a great mission in the Champions League.
Despite the fact that MU has been in fashion lately, Herrera believes in quality, a team that is much better today than it was in its time. Also, young players are now more mature.
“I think Manchester United have grown a lot. Their team is more mature now. There are players like Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial who have always had great talent, but now they are more consistent,” Herrera said on the club’s official website.
“I think that’s the main reason they have developed. Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka add quality to the team.”
“But I think we have to focus on ourselves. If we perform at our level, then we will have a chance to win the game,” he continued.
