Sugi Nur Rahardja or known as Gus Nur was reported to the police because he was found to have defamed Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). So the former president of GP Ansor Jember along with members of the Jember Santri Alliance and dozens of Banser made a complaint to the police for alleged violations of the ITE Law.
“So that as good citizens we report this (case) to the police, so that things like this don’t happen again,” he said.
The complaint to the police was carried out as a form of firm action so that the aggressor suspected of spreading hate speech receives legal sanctions.
