Alex Márquez’s fight to reach the MotoGP podium in Aragon, shoes to the torn pages

KOMPAS.com – The Repsol Honda rider, Alex Márquez, won again in the 2020 MotoGP World Championship.

Alex Márquez successfully won the second podium in the Aragon MotoGP held at the MotorLand Circuit, Aragon, Spain, on Sunday (10/18/2020) WIB afternoon.

Starting in eleventh position, Alex performed brilliantly throughout the race and managed to finish second.

In fact, the 24-year-old Spanish rider had a fierce battle with Alex Rins for the first podium.

After feeding Joan Mir on lap six, Álex Márquez continued to pressure Rins who is leading the race.

The last four laps of the 2020 Aragon MotoGP race are a testament to how inflexible Alex was in attacking Rins.

However, Alex’s mistake by braking too hard allowed Rins to widen the gap and keep running to the finish.

Alex also finished second behind Rins by just 0.263 seconds.

Despite not being able to win the MotoGP in Aragon, finishing second is a special achievement for Alex Márquez.

This is the second consecutive podium that Alex has won in the 2020 MotoGP season.

Previously, Marc Márquez’s younger brother also finished second in the French MotoGP.

On this occasion, Alex has shown great determination to win the MotoGP of Aragon, which will be his first victory in the premier class.

After reaching the second podium in the MotoGP of Aragon, Alex Márquez’s position in the standings continued to climb.

Alex is now 12th in the 2020 MotoGP standings with 67 points.
