jpnn.com, SUBANG – The young politician A Hanafi Rais, who is also the son of the former president of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly, Amien Rais, was the victim of an accident on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road on Sunday (18 / 10) in the morning.

The Highway Patrol Unit (PJR) of the West Java Regional Police reported that the accident that happened to Hanafi occurred on the Cipali Highway Kilometer 122, to be precise in the Subang Regency area.

Panit PJR Tol Cipali Iptu Karyana said that Hanafi Rais was in a Toyota Alphard car with police number B 1612 WMV. The car was driven by Ferdian Yudha Pratama.

Before the accident occurred, Hanafi’s car was driving from Palimanan to Jakarta. “Upon arriving at the TKP (crime scene, red), it is suspected that the left rear of the vehicle I was riding in was hit by another vehicle traveling from the rear,” Karyana said.

The vehicle that allegedly hit Hanafi Rais’ car fled immediately and the police number and identity of the driver were still unknown. According to Karyana, the incident occurred at 02:22 WIB.

As a result of a blow from behind, the car in which Hanafi Rais was riding was pushed forward. At the same time, in front of Hanafi’s car, there is a vehicle carrying heavy equipment.

The collision was inevitable. “As a result of this incident, the vehicle (Hanafi Rais) was damaged with its normal final position facing west,” he said.

Karyana made sure that the incident did not cause casualties. Hanafi and Ferdian, Karyana said, are now being treated at a hospital in the Purwakarta area.
