BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool officially protested two VAR incidents in the Premier League game against Everton at Goodison Park Stadium on Saturday (10/17/2020).

Liverpool expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the match against Everton.

The match titled the Merseyside derby ended with a score of 2-2.

The Reds were able to lead twice through Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, but were also matched twice by Everton by Michael Keane and Dominci Calvert-Lewin.

In addition to the draw, the match was also full of controversy due to two VAR-related incidents that caused Liverpool camp to protest.

The first incident occurred in the 7th minute, when Jordan Pickford thundered at Virgil van Dijk’s foot in the Everton penalty area.

However, Pickford survived the penalty for the tough tackle, not even being shown a yellow card.

Instead of Liverpool receiving a penalty or Pickford being sent off, referee Michael Oliver via the VAR review decided otherwise.
