Those who wish to enroll in the lot 11 pre-employment card program are waiting for certainty, after the batch 10 pre-employment card ends in early October 2020.

The government has assigned this year the quota of participants of the Pre-Work Card for 5,597,183 people.

The quota has now been filled with the opening of 10 registration batches of the 2020 Pre-Job Card.

Responding to the numerous questions raised, the Head of Communications of the Executive Directorate of the Pre-Employment Card Program, Louisa Tuhatu, said that the certainty about whether there will be 11 batches of pre-employment cards this year will be decided in the near future.

In response to the great public interest in joining the Pre-Employment Card program, Louisa said it was very encouraging.

“This great public interest is very encouraging and President Jokowi has stated that this program will continue in 2021,” said Louisa.

He said that although the pre-employment card in this first year was forced to change to a semi-social assistance program, the training element was still maintained by the management and became a prerequisite for receiving social assistance.

“From the evaluation survey of 1.2 million respondents who were recipients of pre-employment cards, it was revealed that 73 percent of the respondents had never received training / courses before,” Louisa said.

From the survey results, it is known that before joining the Pre-Employment Card, 13 percent of respondents did not have a bank account or electronic wallet.

“Now the 5.6 million people who have received the Pre-Employment Card, all of whom have taken online training and already have bank accounts or e-wallets,” Louisa said.

“So this pre-employment card program is supportive lifelong learning (never stop learning) and financial inclusion, “he continued.

The Pre-Employment Card program journey

Registration for the Pre-Employment Card program opens on April 11, 2020.

This is a skills development program for job seekers or workers who have been laid off.

Through this program, participants can develop job competencies, increase the productivity and competitiveness of the workforce, and develop entrepreneurship.

In order to register for the Pre-Employment Card program there are several requirements that must be met, namely:

  • Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Currently not attending formal education

It is recorded that as of September 25, 2020 at 09:00 WIB, the number of registrants through the Prakerja Card program site reached 30,044,167 people or almost six times the quota compared to the quota of recipients this year.

  • Wave 2: 200,000 recipients

  • Wave 7: 800,000 recipients
  • Wave 8: 800,000 recipients
  • Wave 9: 800,000 recipients
  • Wave 10: 116,261 recipients

Incentive

In addition to access to training to develop job skills, beneficiaries of the Pre-Employment Card will also receive an incentive of IDR 3,550,000 for participating in the program.

The incentive includes a non-disbursable IDR 1,000,000 Training Assistance Fee (for the purchase of a training package only).

So the incentive to complete the training is Rs 600,000 per month for four months. This is if you have completed the first training.

In addition, there is also a 50,000 IDR employment survey incentive, there are three surveys.

Participants receive incentives in stages, from before to after job training ends.
