The news of Pollycarpus’s death was confirmed by his former lawyer, Wirawan Adnan, when the media team contacted him on Saturday.
Wirawan himself received the news that Pollycarpus had passed away after directly hearing Josphina Hera’s statement. Hera is known to be Pollycarpus’s wife.

Referring to Hera’s information, Wirawan said that Pollycarpus died as a result of being infected with Covid-19. Pollycarpus died after receiving treatment at the Central Hospital of Pertamina (RSPP).
“He died from Covid-19. That is all confirmation,” he said.
For your information, in 2005, during the trial for the murder of human rights activist Munir Said Thalib ?, Pollycarpus was officially sentenced to 14 years in prison by a panel of judges.
